Annual Support Contracts: Summary Terms/Prices

This page is your guide to Record Sales Systems' current terms and prices (as of July 1, 2002) for annual contracts for software support and product upgrades. The table below summarizes prices for Annual Support Contracts for our Record Sales System products. Customers who license the software from RRS LTD are entitled to a free Annual Support Contract for the lifetime of the product (this assumes the licence fee is paid when due).

* Not all web solutions will require the purchase of our Shopping Cart code. If you already have a shopping cart enabled site, RSS will be most likely be able to integrate with your current system - saving you at least £500!

Summary Terms

An Annual Support Contract begins on the date it is purchased and lasts for 12 months. It includes:

A limited warranty for the functionality and performance of the software product 

Free software upgrades for the product released during the contract term (excluding callout charges)

Technical support by phone and email during normal business hours

Assistance with setting up web site

Users who purchase software product licenses without an Annual Support Contract receive support and upgrades as follows:

No warranty as to the functionality and performance of the product

Any software updates for the product released in the next 90 days (but no upgrades to future versions of the product, and no trade-ins for more powerful products. Call out charge as ‘Without Annual Support’ applies)

Technical support by phone and email during normal business hours, subject to availability (users with annual support contracts are given priority)

A support contract may be purchased at any time if you have purchased the Record Sales System without one.
